  The best shop here is the Gift Box. Its near the Big W and is full of wonderful handmade gifts, clothing and pottery. Everything is locally made by the people in the collective. Anything you can think of from patchwork quilts to felted hats, bags and clothing and a few things you have never even imagined. There paintings and jewelry. There are some beautiful handmade bibs, toys and bonnets for babies and rompers and one off dresses and upcycled printed clothing. There is handspun wool and woven works. The prices are generally very low for individual handcrafted items.

  It is absolutely PATHETIC that an entire Country almost shuts down because of a horse race in ONE city that lasts less than 4 minutes, and is run ONCE a YEAR!!!

  The range of shops is very good. The centre itself is kept clean. The parking is one of the best around Hervey bay.

  SERIOUSLY SPOILT by irresponsible traders deciding to CLOSE their doors to the public on 7 November because they think it's more important to join the tens of thousands of other shopkeepers all over Australia in a major P...UP, all because of a horse race several thousand kilometers away, that is an event in MELBOURNE, VICTORIA...... NOT THE ENTIRETY of AUSTRALIA. It is NOT, repeat NOT a Public Holiday anywhere else in Australia OTHER THAN VICTORIA!
